Moonlight
This one happened during the Christmas break.
I dreamed I was going to bed quite late and that David had already gone up. It was very late, about 2am or so.
On the way, I get distracted and decide to go and sit on the (fictional) flat roof and watch the countryside in the moonlight. The vista is spectacular and I see trees and hills. There is a stag walking between the trees from left to right.
The countryside is remarkably clear even though it is night-time and there is a layer of mist which enhances the view.
I am lost in admiration of the view and wish I had my camera with me. Then I realise I should be getting to bed.
