Aunt Elsie's Funeral

My Uncle Fred's first wife, Elsie, was my favourite Aunt. Whenever we visited she always seemed happy and kind and nice. She died several years ago.

In this dream, my Dad, my sister and me were all travelling by train to Elsie's funeral. Needless to say, the dream funeral was nothing like the real one, either in location or in event. In the dream we walked from the station to Fred's house (nothing like the real thing) but realised when we got there that we should have gone by car as it was nowhere near the cemetary.

We were shown into the house to wait. For what I'm not sure, as most people seemed to have already left by car. The house was completely decorated in white inside and there were three white and very energetic dogs inside who barked and raced up and down the stairs. We waited on the upstairs landing as there didn't seem to be a downstairs.

Two of my work colleagues arrived as well. Both dressed in white but very respectful. The dogs went mad, particularly the white Jack Russell terrier. It managed to run so fast that it got three-quarters of the way up the walls.
